A beautiful china "strawberry basket" serving dish, made for Tiffany by Hammersley, England. The basket contains receptacles on either side for the matching creamer and sugar bowl. A truly beautiful set, in excellent condition. Perfect for summer afternoons when strawberries are at their peak. Bright white Hammersley, bone china with a handprinted pattern of green and gold leaves and pink flowers. Further gilt details to the lip of jug, dish and sugar bowl, and handle. Pattern 4494
Measurements:
The serving dish: 10" by 7" by 4" high.
The jug: 3.35" long by 2" wide by 2.5" high,
The sugar bowl: 4.25" long by 2 ' high by 3" wide.
Condition: Excellent vintage
Found by The Wandering Poetess at an estate sale in Greenwich CT. Formally owned by a designer.
