First Edition, First issue, 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Green Cloth. Near Fine / Near Fine. First Edition, First Impression, 8vo; in the publisher's green cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine. The book is in near fine condition with clean bright pages and only minimal signs of wear. The green dust jacket is fresh with the tiniest bit of rubbing and a small tear along the seam at top of the spine. The four corners of the dust jacket have been lightly trimmed but the price is still intact. The boards are clean and bright with a slight tear on the spine. Decorated Ends, Horace Liveright, Inc. New York, 1931. Included in the book is an original 16mo playbill. £200.00
A Near Fine to Fine copy of the first edition of this famous play. Included is a playbill from the Theatre Guild Production (in excellent condition).
