Ask a question
An absolutely beautiful hand-painted Trimont demitasse cup made in Occupied Japan between 1946 and 1952. The extraordinary decadence and richness of the colors contrast with the simplicity with which the flowers have been rendered.
In excellent vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing. The thick gilt shows some minor rubbing but this does not detract from the beauty of the piece.
Condition: Very good vintage
Measurements: Cup just over 1.75" high and 3. 3.75" if you include the handle. Saucer 4.75" in diameter.
Both cup and saucer state Made in Occupied Japan.
