A rare and lovely wall plaque by Rosenthal, Bavaria, dating from between 1891 and 1906. The plaque depicts the goddess of flowers, Chloris, seated on a cloud, with Cupid, aloft, handing her a rose. Transferware illustration with hand-painted detailing around the edge of the image. In very good condition with only minor wear including some light loss of glaze in tiny patches here and there. Please see the photographs for a detailed view. Some scattered glue markings on the rear from a previous framing. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Six inches in diameter and just over .25 in height.

Sold unframed.

Condition: Very good vintage. Some signs of age but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece.
