Small 8vo; Set of 12, in the publisher's colorful cloth boards, three green, three red, three tan and three blue. All bindings show some light wear with Aida being rather faded. Faust has been inscribed by a former owner to rear of front board, but in general the interiors are clean and unmarked. La Juive shows some water damage to top right of front board resulting in some color bleed to FFE and title page. Wear is commensurate with age and all hinges are firm. A lovely vintage set for the opera lover, Barse and Hopkins, New York, 1923.

An extremely rare HARDBACK set of 12 books on the Opera by Charlotte Lund. The Paper pamphlets are fairly easy to source but I have never seen another set in cloth bindings.
Condition: Good Vintage. Shows wear commensurate with age but not to the detriment of the set.
Found by The Wandering Poetess at an estate sale in Connecticut.
