Three large antique C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges soup plates for Richard Briggs, Boston
$80.00
Ask a question
Three magnificent Limoges china soup plates, made by Charles Ahrenfeldt and imported into the US specifically for Richard Brigg's luxury good store in Boston.
Probably dating from the early part of the 20th century, but may be earlier.
In very condition. Each soup plate measures 9.5 inches in diameter and is decorated around the rim with a interlocking dots. One plate has a tiny pin dark pin mark to the inside of the bowl - a maker's flaw - and all show some slight rubbing to the gilt in varying degrees (all minimal) Otherwise, they are in very good vintage condition, and show very little wear considering they are over a hundred years old.
Indulge your inner Brahmin! Would make a lovely addition to a Limoges set, or as small serving plates, or even hung on a dark wall.
Condition: Very good vintage
Measurements: 9.5" in diameter. 1.5" tall
