A charming original oil painting, mid-twentieth century, depicting a European village scene in winter. A lone figure of a woman in a long skirt and red hat stands on a snowy street on a bright winter day. The blue of her shirt is mirrored by the magnificent blue of the sky. Late impressionist in style, oil on board. Signed L. Balazs to the lower right corner.
Condition: Excellent vintage. The painting is in excellent condition but the brown wooden frame does show some bumping and scratching.
