A rare vintage 1940's Art Deco-inspired champagne cooler, made in Belgium by Selecta Lot, for Mumm & Co Cordon Rouge Champagne. Painted metal Mumm label to one side, and Nectarose label to reverse. The bucket stands 11" high and measures 7.5" across the mouth, excluding handles. Aluminum is a light metal, and the bucket shows expected wear throughout, including light to medium scratching, knocks, rubbing, abrasions, and a 1-inch dent next to the Nectarose label. It has always attended many parties and been joyfully used.
Produced in the 1940s. The Nectarose label mentions Browne Vintners New York, which was bought by Seagrams in the 1940s.
Measurements: 11" high, 7.5' across
Condition: Used Vintage. Not a new item. It will buff up well but shows expected wear for an old party girl. More Shabby Chic now than glossy but still effortlessly glamorous.
